Recently, Guangzhou Customs seized 3 pieces of endangered wooden furniture, weighing 62.5kg, in the export cargo channel. After identification, this batch of wooden furniture in the wooden box for the leguminous yellow sandalwood products, wooden coffee table for the leguminous yellow sandalwood products, carved wooden chairs for the leguminous yellow sandalwood products, all belong to the “Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora” Appendix Ⅱ listed protected species. Customs reminds that China's import and export trade of endangered wild plants and their products to implement strict control, without authorization shall not be imported or exported.
